The Royal Manor Workshops were established in 1981 to provide a focal point for local Arts, Crafts and Music in the Island and Royal Manor of Portland. We have a membership of around 120 that covers Portland, Weymouth, Dorchester and surrounding areas.
Our objectives are to promote member’s work and increase awareness of art, crafts and music throughout the area.
We provide facilities for members and also run exhibitions, events, cultural trips, workshops and lectures open to all.
We meet at St. George’s Centre, Reforne, Portland
We are fortunate to have as patrons Rein Fulleylove, a professional artist based on Portland and Stuart Morris, well known for his many books on Portland, both of whom actively support our work.
